Our Savior, Jesus Christ, gave us the greatest gift of all...the Atonement. What is the greatest gift we can give to him? The scripture found in Matthew 25:40 gives a great answer, serving others.

Story: Straw For the Manger, Friend Dec .2010

(activity: make your own manger with straw just like in this story)

Activity: Write the name of each member of your family on a slip of paper. Fold and place in a bowl. Let each family member pick out a name. Over the next week find ways to serve that person.

Find a way to give service this Christmas season. Here are a few simple ideas:

Buy items on a giving tree.

Donate food/time to a local food bank.

Shovel snow for neighbors.

Invite someone lonely over for dinner or FHE.

Deliver food/treat baskets to elderly/lonely.
